My West Yorkshire studio births the creation of Keith, the grumpy cat brooch - a dapper fella, screen-printed with water-based black ink onto maple wood, then sealed with a water-based varnish and fitted with a classic bar pin.
Keith isn't easily impressed. He's not a cheerful chap. He doesn't appreciate that I took the time to screen print his sleek fur and grumpy mug onto wood and craft him into a brilliant cat brooch. A perfect gift for indifferent cat lovers.
He's feather-light and easy to wear, with a smooth finish that complements his bold aesthetic. He is also pretty robust. I've tried to remove his bar pin and it wouldn't budge.
I strive to keep wastage to a minimum, and this cantankerous character was created to put any leftover wood from my bigger wood projects to use.
You can also find a bright blue Keith on my grumpy cat birthday cards if you fancy going full on cat gift.

Care
Care
Keith likes to be left alone, however if he gets a bit grubby just give him a quick wipe with a damp cloth. Please don't use anything abrasive as it may affect his smart coat and whiskers.
Packaging
Packaging
Keith arrives all snug in recycled shredded paper and a small thin 10 x 10cm kraft gift box. If you are considering posting him on as a gift, his box is considered a large letter (bonus!)

Earth Friendly Aims
Earth Friendly Aims
You will not find any plastic in Print Lass products.
All packaging is paper based and in most cases, recycled.
Art papers are from sustainable sources or recycled
I use a small transparent paper band to secure greetings cards instead of cello bags and the cello bags I use for prints at events are compostable (I roll all prints ordered online and send in a triangular tube).
Care is taken in the printing process, to limit water use and waste water is filtered through a guppy bag to stop any micro particles entering the waste water system (particularly in the use of gold ink).
