My West Yorkshire studio births the creation of Keith, the grumpy cat brooch - a dapper fella, screen-printed with water-based black ink onto maple wood, then sealed with a water-based varnish and fitted with a classic bar pin.
Keith isn't easily impressed. He's not a cheerful chap. He doesn't appreciate that I took the time to screen print his sleek fur and grumpy mug onto wood and craft him into a brilliant cat brooch. A perfect gift for indifferent cat lovers.
He's feather-light and easy to wear, with a smooth finish that complements his bold aesthetic. He is also pretty robust. I've tried to remove his bar pin and it wouldn't budge.
I strive to keep wastage to a minimum, and this cantankerous character was created to put any leftover wood from my bigger wood projects to use.
You can also find a bright blue Keith on my grumpy cat birthday cards if you fancy going full on cat gift.

You will not find any plastic in Print Lass products.
All packaging is paper based and in most cases, recycled.
Art papers are from sustainable sources or recycled
I use card catches for all greetings cards instead of cello bags and the cello bags I do use for events are compostable (I roll all prints ordered online and send in a triangular tube).
Care is taken in the printing process, to limit water use and waste water is filtered through a guppy bag to stop any micro particles entering the waste water system (particularly in the use of gold ink).
