Wooden Screen Printed Angel - Nora
Wooden Screen Printed Angel - Nora
Share
Nora's screen printed emerald green wings are glorious on her pale wooden base. Nora is quiet, down to earth and likes a bit of gardening when she's not singing and doing angel stuff. Happier in dungarees than a fancy frock. She's kind and likes to look after people.
Nora is screen printed with 2 layers of acrylic ink on finely sanded wood (ash veneered mdf) and topped with a protective coat of varnish. She has a little hook to hang her on the wall or you can add her stand to let her roam free on a shelf or mantelpiece.
Nora is printed onto ash veneer which has a lovely grain that adds to her charm. Care is taken to fill any deeper grain and finely sand it, however the print may still be affected in places by the finer natural grain of the wood.

You will not find any plastic in Print Lass products.
All packaging is paper based and in most cases, recycled.
Art papers are from sustainable sources or recycled
I use a small transparent paper band to secure greetings cards instead of cello bags and the cello bags I use for prints at events are compostable (I roll all prints ordered online and send in a triangular tube).
Care is taken in the printing process, to limit water use and waste water is filtered through a guppy bag to stop any micro particles entering the waste water system (particularly in the use of gold ink).
